Mill Hotel may, from time to time, receive and store personal information that you enter onto our software application, provide to us directly, or give to us in other forms.

You may provide basic information such as your name, phone number, address, and email address to enable us to send information, provide updates, and process your product or service order. You can opt out of receiving promotional information at any time by following the instructions in the communications or contacting us directly. We may collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when you provide feedback, change your content or email preferences, respond to surveys and/or promotions, provide financial or credit card information, or communicate with our customer support.

Sensitive Information: If we collect sensitive information (e.g., health information, racial or ethnic origin), we will only do so with your consent and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Alcoholic Beverages and Gaming Services: If you participate in any of our loyalty programs related to alcoholic beverages or gaming services, we may use your personal information to ensure compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) regulations and NSW gaming laws. This includes validating your age and monitoring your participation in these programs to promote responsible behaviour.

The Application may make third-party social media features available to its users. We cannot ensure the security of any information you choose to make public in a social media feature. Also, we cannot ensure that parties who have access to such publicly available information will respect your privacy. Mill Hotel may contact you by a variety of measures including, but not limited to, telephone, email, SMS, or mail.

Your personal information, including identification details, may also be used to validate voucher redemption and ensure compliance with our membership terms.

5. Disclosure of Your Personal Information

We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers, or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. Liquor & Gaming NSW Compliance: We may disclose your personal information to comply with Liquor & Gaming NSW regulations. This includes sharing information with regulatory bodies for the purposes of maintaining compliance with laws related to alcohol service and gaming activities.

Overseas Data Transfers: Information that we collect may from time to time be stored, processed in, or transferred between parties located in countries outside of Australia. If your personal information is transferred to overseas recipients, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient does not breach the Australian Privacy Principles, unless an exception applies.

We may need to disclose personal information to comply with legal requirements, such as laws, regulations, court orders, subpoenas, warrants, or in response to law enforcement agency requests.

We may also use your personal information to protect the copyright, trademarks, legal rights, property, or safety of Mill Hotel, its application, website, customers, or third parties.

If there is a change of control in our business or a sale or transfer of business assets, we reserve the right to transfer our user databases, together with any personal and non-personal information contained in those databases. This information may be disclosed to a potential purchaser under an agreement to maintain confidentiality. We would seek to only disclose information in good faith and where required by any of the above circumstances.

CCTV Footage: For security purposes, Mill Hotel uses CCTV cameras throughout the premises. CCTV footage is stored securely and is only accessed by authorised personnel. Footage may be disclosed to law enforcement or regulatory bodies if required by law.

Data Breach Notification: In the unlikely event of a data breach, we are committed to complying with the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required.

The transmission and exchange of information are carried out at your own risk. We cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to us or receive from us. Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorised disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personal information that we collect will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.

7. Access to Your Personal Information

You may request details of personal information that we hold about you in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). A small administrative fee may be payable for the provision of information. We reserve the right to refuse to provide you with information that we hold about you in certain circumstances set out in the Privacy Act.

We take complaints very seriously and will respond shortly after receiving written notice of your complaint. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

9. Opt-Out Right

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You can also request to opt-out via email at marketing@marlowhotelgroup.com.au.

10. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time without notice to you to reflect our changing business practices and/or changes in the law. We may therefore change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended Privacy Policy on our websites/app. All personal information collected will be governed by our most recent Privacy Policy as posted on our websites/app. We will notify you of any significant changes to this Privacy Policy by email or through a notice on our websites/app.

11. Software Application

When you use our application, we may collect certain information such as a mobile unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application. This information is used in an aggregated manner to analyse how people use our site so that we can improve our service.

We may from time to time use cookies on our software application. Our software application may from time to time have links to other applications or websites not owned or controlled by us. These links are meant for your convenience only. Links to third-party applications and websites do not constitute sponsorship or endorsement or approval of these third parties. Please be aware that Mill Hotel is not responsible for the privacy practices of other such applications or websites. We encourage our users to be aware, when they leave our application or website, to read the privacy statements of each and every application or website that collects personal identifiable information.

15. Geo-Location

When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location to determine the city you are located within and display a location map with relevant advertisements. We will not share your current location with other users or partners.

16. Incident Registers and Patron Identification

For compliance with NSW regulations, Mill Hotel may collect and store patron identification details and maintain incident registers, particularly in relation to alcohol service and gaming areas. This information is securely stored and only disclosed as required by law or regulatory authorities.

17. Minors and Gaming Areas

In accordance with NSW gaming regulations, we are committed to protecting the privacy of minors. Personal information related to minors is not collected or stored in gaming areas, and we take measures to ensure that minors do not access these areas.
